Leverkusen are the 13th club to win the Bundesliga, and the first new champions of the league since Wolfsburg in 2008-09.
The last time Leverkusen won a trophy was on 12 June 1993, when they defeated Hertha Berlin's second team 1-0 in the German Cup final.
