Filing through CRS or FiCOR is convenient and user-friendly. Plus, using these systems allows you to report a crime 24/7 within Fairfax County while maintaining the health and safety of community members and police officers during the COVID-19 crisis. However, not every crime can be reported through these methods. Please read the information below to determine if using this system is appropriate for your purpose. When to use the Community Reporting System (CRS): Use CRS to report incidents that occurred MORE THAN 30min ago. Examples include: Civil Disputes, Lost Property, Telephone Harassment/Threats, Larceny/Theft under $5,000, Suspicious Person/Vehicle, Solicitor Violations, Unoccupied Hit & Run Accidents, etc. All cases filed using CRS are reviewed and if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.
